Choose grilled or roasted lean beef, turkey, or chicken strips as an alternative to jerky beef. Cook the alternatives with low salt and sodium concentration. Always consult with your dietitian or healthcare provider for meat consumption during pregnancy. 

  2.  Pasteurized Meat Products: Pasteurization eliminates the risk of undercooked food. Always look for ready-to-eat meats labeled as pasteurized, fully cooked, and safe for pregnancy. Ensure the best food safety habits, like washing hands and storing food properly before and after cooking. 

  3.  Protein-Rich Pregnancy Snacks: Prefer nuts, boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, hummus, and roasted chickpeas in pregnancy.
